Froilabo has an ambitious strategy for next years to develop its product portfolio. In this context, we are seeking a Product Manager.

Role Overview

We are seeking a highly experienced and senior professional product manager with a proven track record in leadership, strategic ownership, and cross-functional collaboration. This role is based in France and offered on a permanent contract.

You will play a key role in the next product launchs and future product developments to sustain our full Froilabo product portfolio and solutions including services. The successful candidate will demonstrate a deep understanding of the product range and drive innovation, operational excellence, and supporting business growth efficiently.

Coordination with internal stakeholders—including sales, production, R&D, HR and marketing—is essential to ensure smooth execution of product-related activities, to guarantee customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

  • Market Analysis and follow up

Conduct market and competitive analyses to identify growth opportunities and guide portfolio positioning Deliver market analysis to build marketing needs for new products

Define and implement the product strategy and roadmap for the laboratory equipment portfolio. Serve as the voice of the customer internally to guide innovation and product enhancements Monitor product performance and profitability and propose corrective or improvement actions.

  • Support the sales team

Support sales team with product introduction, webinar Deliver a relevant sales package

Visit key opinion leader with local sales representative to build a strong technical/application knowledge and a long-term relationship

Prepare pricing guides in collaboration with the finance team

Coordinate operational marketing with sales team & Techcomp Europe marketing for promotional activities Ensure documentation is accessible and shared internally and externally

  • Strategy

Define and own a 3–5 year product vision aligned with the company’s strategic objectives.

Develop and maintain a multi-year roadmap incorporating cost optimization, standardization, compliance, and innovation initiatives.

Manage the entire product lifecycle, including introductions, updates, and end-of-life decisions.

  • Project Assessment & Profitability Accountability

Coordinate assessments for future product developments by:

Market Analysis: Clearly articulating market needs and business justification.

Specification Definition: Establishing detailed product specifications to enable accurate feasibility analysis. Ensure overall profitability and Return on Investment (ROI) for each project is fair and sustainable.

Track product profitability throughout its lifecycle and recommend corrective measures when necessary.

  • New Product Development & Project Management

Lead new product development projects from market requirements through to product launch, in collaboration with R&D, Production, and Quality teams.

Ensure project timelines, budgets, and deliverables are met by monitoring progress and coordinating cross-functional stakeholders, including Sales, R&D, Production, and Marketing.

  • Production Control & Service Focus

Partner with Production and Quality teams to ensure industrialization, serviceability, and regulatory compliance.

Required Skills & Experience

  • Master’s degree in Engineering, Life Sciences, or Business (or equivalent).
  • 5–8 years experience in product management within the laboratory equipment, life sciences, or medical technology sectors.
  • Proven ability to manage international markets and support sales teams across diverse
  • Experience in product launches and portfolio lifecycle management
  • Bilingual – Proficient in both French and English
  • Strong project management and cross-functional collaboration
  • Experience with digital marketing tools is a plus
