Ceux-ci sont plong\u00e9s dans de l&rsquo;azote liquide\u00a0et g\u00e8lent quasi\u00a0instantan\u00e9ment. Une fois r\u00e9chauff\u00e9, l&rsquo;aliment est r\u00e9cup\u00e9r\u00e9 dans le m\u00eame \u00e9tat que celui dans lequel il \u00e9tait au moment de sa surg\u00e9lation.<\/p>\n<p><strong>La relation entre physique et Cryog\u00e9nie<\/strong><br \/>\nLorsque l&rsquo;on veut atteindre un \u00e9tat de\u00a0superfluidit\u00e9\u00a0ou utiliser la\u00a0supraconductivit\u00e9\u00a0d&rsquo;un\u00a0mat\u00e9riau, l\u2019utilisation de la cryog\u00e9nie est int\u00e9ressante. Par exemple, les\u00a0syst\u00e8mes cryog\u00e9niques\u00a0du CERN\u00a0(Conseil europ\u00e9en pour la recherche nucl\u00e9aire) permettent de plonger les\u00a0aimants\u00a0du\u00a0LHC (Grand collisionneur de\u00a0hadrons) dans un environnement de\u00a0froid extr\u00eame\u00a0: -271,3\u00a0\u00b0C, encore plus froid que celui de l&rsquo;espace intersid\u00e9ral\u00a0!<\/p>\n<p><strong>La Cryog\u00e9nie industrielle et cryoth\u00e9rapie<\/strong><br \/>\nLa cryog\u00e9nie permet aussi de transformer la\u00a0mati\u00e8re\u00a0en fines poudres pour des applications industrielles, de cr\u00e9er toutes sortes de neiges, de traiter les verrues, ou encore de minimiser les courbatures, etc.<\/p>\n<p><strong>La Cryoconservation<\/strong><br \/>\nCette technique permet de suspendre l&rsquo;activit\u00e9 de cellules pendant un certain temps, et aussi stopper les activit\u00e9s biologiques d\u2019un organe ou autre composant biologique. C&rsquo;est une m\u00e9thode utilis\u00e9e pour la conservation du\u00a0sperme, et aussi\u00a0de tissus. Certains esp\u00e8rent m\u00eame s&rsquo;offrir l&rsquo;immortalit\u00e9 en la mettant en \u0153uvre pour conserver des \u00eatres humains\u00a0! Dans ce cas, on ne doit plus parler de cryog\u00e9nie mais de\u00a0cryog\u00e9nisation\u00a0ou de cryonie.
